Who are we?
Founded in 2001, the Association de plein air - secteur Pied-des-Monts is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of public lands in the hinterland of Charlevoix. The managed territory includes several mountains, numerous waterways, forests and breathtaking panoramas!
The Association's mission is to enhance the public territory, in agreement with the MRC de Charlevoix-Est, the members and the socio-economic actors of the region. It is a non-profit organization that ensures the accessibility of public spaces by offering quality trails and vehicular access roads.
Since the founding of the Association, many projects have been completed, with the support and collaboration of many partners, to provide access to this unique sector for all. In addition to hiking activities, the Association supports hunting, fishing, cycling and many other activities on its territory, in compliance with regulations and laws.
Supported by a team of dynamic administrators who are eager to share their unique nature with people everywhere, the Association has grown steadily since its foundation. Several partnerships, articles and prizes have propelled Mont Morios among the must-see hiking destinations in Quebec. We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to discover it.
An annual meeting of members is held each year and allows for the election of the Board of Directors. Details are communicated via our Facebook page.
In 2022, the Association changed its name for Association de plein air - Secteur Pied-des-Monts to better reflect its mission.
